Principios de redacción del español
In about 2009 I started to realize it was important to write a book about Spanish writing that was focused on the US. I started reading and collected a library of the good, the bad and the ugly. I discussed issues with colleagues of all stripes. I resisted writing it, because it is such hard work! However, it is needed. Others kept encouraging.
I thank all those who encouraged me along the way for these 10 years, and celebrate by publishing this online as a PDF for free distribution here and on the Recursos page of the ¡Al rescate del español! site. The style should be familiar to Rescate readers.
Spanish is different from English, and in this book I attempt to guide readers through it without getting into weeds that are impossible to wade through. I hope this helps writers of Spanish texts in the US at all levels.
