Heidi Cazes-Sevilla has been a translator and interpreter for over 20 years. As a translator, she is ATA-certified from English into Spanish. As an interpreter, she is a Federally Certified Court Interpreter and a Conference Level Interpreter for the US Department of State. Heidi also has a Masters in Terminology from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. She does research and development of glossaries and regularly holds lectures and workshops on terminology. A native of Mexico, she has been located in Puerto Rico for a number of years. Heidi is also active in the development of standards for interpreting and translations through ASTM, and is therefore up to date on the latest best practices. She can be reached by email at hcazes@eSpLanguage.net.  Heidi has a detailed Linked In profile as well as an interesting ATA profile.

Paul Coltrin: In addition to translating and interpreting, he has experience as a grader for the ATA English-into-Spanish Certification Exam (1998-2008) and for the exit exam (Spanish>English) of the University of Pittsburgh Translation Certificate Program (1999-2003). He also has experience as a university lecturer in Spanish translation and Spanish language. He prides himself in crafting a translation that not only conveys the message of the original but also reads naturally in the target language. This, in his opinion, is what makes an excellent translator stand out from the pack. He also enjoys helping his clients to develop a project glossary and style sheet, which is crucial to achieving consistent, professional communication. Read Paul’s ATA profile.
